Rainfall warnings up over Metro Manila, Zambales , 5 other areas
MANILA, Philippines — An orange rainfall warning remains in effect in Zambales as of late Friday evening amid the effects of Tropical Storm Crising (international name: Wipha) and the southwest monsoon or habagat, said the state weather bureau.
The Orange Rainfall Warning remained hoisted in Zambales based on an 11 p.m. advisory, by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

When an area is under Orange Rainfall Warning, 15 millimeter (mm) and 30 mm of intense rain is expected within one hour and could continue in the next two hours.
Meanwhile, Yellow Rainfall Warning also remains hoisted over Metro Manila, Pampanga, Tarlac, Bulacan, Cavite and Batangas.
Areas under a Yellow Rainfall Warning tend to experience rainfall between 7.5 mm and 15 mm within one hour and could continue in the next two hours.
Meanwhile, Pagasa said light to moderate rains already affecting Rizal, Nueva Ecija, Quezon and Laguna may persist until the next three hours. /gsg
