In Barangay Abuno, also in Iligan City, strong winds uprooted an electrical post that blocked the main road in Zone 12 Sitio Anas.
A 17-year-old lad was hurt when a coconut tree fell on him. The boy was rushed to a hospital and is now in stable condition.
Barangay Councilor Tots Hermo said the electrical post is owned by Iligan Light and Power Incorporated (ILPI).
“The ILPI had already checked the post and we are waiting for the ICDRRMO (Iligan City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council) for the clearing operation,” Hermo said. /mr
